A Tribe Called Quest has always been one of my favorite groups of all-time. As I made this one I realize that it kind of made itself. I just sat down at the Fender Rhodes and played a few chords. Next thing you know I resampled the original Ronnie Foster joint (the whole world knows where it came from by now) and then played some synth and Rhodes cords with chopped drums from the MPC. This could never compare to the original, so I just see it as my thank you to Tip, Phife, Shaheed, and Jarobi. Thanks brothers!
