Life’s A Gamble
Kev Brown produced the original version. I was listening to a lot of Mobb Deep’s The Infamous album when I produced this. I wanted the snare to have a Havoc or Q-Tip 1990’s kind of feel to it. To me they had some of the best sounding snare drums in Hip Hop at that time. I sampled myself hitting a plate with a spoon to give the snare drum a metallic sound (No lie!). Ain’t nuthin the right instrument mic and kitchen utensil won’t take care of!
