This was one of my proudest but saddest moments while producing this album. 1st of all, I’m a humongous Michael Jackson fan and after his untimely death I knew that I would never fulfill a lifelong dream of mine to work with the brother. The hardest part to play on this song was the baseline. I played it on my bass guitar and keys to get the fullness of it just right. It took me about a day to get it right, but once I got it I was happy with the end result. Quincy Jones is a genius! I hope he and Mike would approve of it. I thought this would be a great change of pace on the remix album to show diversity in my production catalogue. Contemporary jazz and R&B stations have put this in rotation (Cool!). Sean-Toure’and Michael Jackson on the quiet storm together, who would’ve “thunk it”! MJ RIP
