The original was a song from off of my Soundchanneler LP. Any song with yU from Low Budget on it is an instant banger. However, I really wanted to do something way different than the original. I love the flanger effect concept.

I learned a lot about Flanger effects after watching a John Lennon documentary. What I learned while watching it is John Lennon is the founder of the term “Flanger”. It was a slang term he used after realizing the word was “too long to pronounce” which was told to him by producer George Martin during the Beatle’s Rubber Soul sessions.

The effect worked very well. I even did it the way they did in the 60’s. I recorded the sound to tape and dumped it digitally into the mixing board. At least I can now say I actually did it….lol!
