Substantial is one of my favorite emcees. I’ve always loved his approach to song writing in terms of his flow, delivery, voice, and content. I feel like he’s one of the best cats in the game and it’s an honor to work with the brother.

We did a joint with Ms. Stress on my last album called I.M.A.G.E. and after hearing our recordings I knew exactly what direction I would go in to make a remix off his “Home Is Where the Art Is” LP. I used a sample I freaked about 10 years ago on a song I did called, I Self Lord and Master. I always said that I would use it again and that was pretty much it.
