The Cause
I’m a giant Kev Brown fan. I respect his versatility as an emcee/producer. I always felt like he and cats like Oddisee, Roddy Rod, and Kanye West set the tone for what it is I’ve aspired to do as an emcee/producer in the game. LMNO came with the ill vocals as usual. This is one of my favorite joints on the whole project. I have other songs on this project that some would say sound better, but this song had a feel to it that I had been trying to produce for sometime with the horns I used (check for Pete Rock circa.1991-1993…lol!).
